Suborbital

As of February, 2010 Kentucky Space has flown two suborbital missions, one from White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, and a second with Garvey Space. In April 2010, it will fly a suborbital mission in support of KySat-1, its first orbital orbital craft, from the Wallops range.
One of two payloads on the Suborbital Cubesat Experimental Mission (SOCEM) mission, the student designed Antenna Deployment and Mono-filament Actuator Satellite (ADAMASat) will reach an altitude of over 300km and be visible to ground stations in Kentucky as well as Virginia.
More information on Kentucky Space's suborbital missions may be found at the Space Systems Laboratory at the University of Kentucky.
